Writing vs Speaking

OK – I know there are proper writing techniques, grammar, spelling, rules and such that I have not learned how to apply to anything. I write pretty much exactly the way I speak. Nothing proper, organized, thought-through or even clear on some occasions.

I suggest closing your eyes and hearing my voice while you read this. Well, no, do not try that. Just hear my voice, picture me doing that hand thing, face thing that I do. Notice the tonal quality as I approach a really cool point. Feel it, don’t just read it.

Or, just post you editing suggestions and I will take them under advisement. If I find that they are not going to effect the effect of what I have written or was (am?) trying to get across, I will gladly change and maybe even give you credit.

However, if it just doesn’t “sound like me” – no change. Just close your eyes and read it again if that’s the case.

Loving you, really,

Ant-Knee

  1. arent there numerous examples of famous authors who used no punctuation or capital letters? dont sweat the composition, there are no grammar teachers reading you brother….just say what you want to say, and the audience will be self-selecting based on what you are saying more than how you are saying it.
